Tomasz Zjawiony – Entrepreneur, President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice. Experienced in developing companies at Polish market he managed a foreign department of the companies from Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Executive MBA, Master of Business Administration; Institut d’Administration des Enterprises IAE d’Aix-en-Provence Graduate School of Management in Marseille at Paul Cezanne University. His knowledge is based on education at University of Silesia – School of Management and Silesian International Trade School. Mr. Zjawiony got his experience by attending Training at Trade Office in Polish Embassy to France but mostly by heading lots of social and economic projects. His latest practices concern working for international corporations from Spain, Italy or Germany – where he was responsible for investment development in Central Europe. Member of board of directors and Member of the Boards he also acted as the plenipotentiary of the Management Board of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency S.A. Member of the Economic Council at the Silesian Voivode, Member of the Provincial Council for Electromobility. As the Vice-President of RIG, he co-creates the European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises - the largest event in Europe for the SME sector, which is the most important sector of the Polish economy. As part of activities supporting the SME sector, as the Vice-President of GIS, he also organizes many business missions for entrepreneurs and representatives of the Silesian region, which led to signing several partnership agreements between the Silesian region and, for example, State of Nevada in the USA or West Bengal in India.
